i dunno what i did but Guests arent able to view the forum


This board has no forums.

Pops up when viewing as a guest and i want to change it so guests can only view and not read. i spent all day in my ACP turning things on / off relating to guests and im at a lost :confused:

Well im at a lost here, I searched the whole entire world for a phpbb 3.0 style thats compatable with the portal and 800x600 screen resolution. And the majority listed are not compatible with the portal. or they have a bad sidescroll.

I want to go in and edit the styles/templates/themes and unable too. (how can i)

I lost some info during the switch over. (anyway to get it back) I have the phpbb 2.0 backup

I really need or pointed in the right direction on phpbb 3.0 styles or a place to make my own.

I'm sorry, I can't create the phpBB3 version of her forum now. But she can register a free phpbb3 test forum at Forum Sign Up - Free Forum Hosting

If i create a free forum on the phpbb3 test site will it dissapear when you do the switch over?

Hi i am wondering if anyone creates a free forum will it be in Phpbb 3.0 version or the old phpbb.

EDIT: Ahhh just noticed the sign up feature is down lol

I guess the question is ..

How will we beable to tell if were switched over AND will we be notified Via Emails on when it has been done.

Can a person have a website and use a forum with it?

Id like to create a web page with a forum and no idea how i go about doing this> and id like it FREE to use. Similar to freewebs.com only id like to make it thru here if i could. Do u have anything like that here ?

lol okies, i think im ready then for the switch over :mrgreen:  Now that ive had alot of practice in on how things work itill make it easier to set things up once were switched :oops:

Some permissions will be lost. However, we will keep an eye on this request.
 
For the team list, it works for me. I just create an account on your phpBB3 test forum, please approve it so i can check it :mrgreen: .

Once were switched over what happens to the work we've done on our temp sites ? Im suspecting it will all be replaced with our phbpp2 forums as this would be a good thing considering i have threads lost and showing up elsewhere and no idea how to get em back to the orig forums lol
 
Main problem im having is setting up my ADMIN correctly as right now i cant go into threads and delete any posts so im assuming its not realizing im the owner yet lol
 
Is there an ONLINE manual or tutorial thats set up to use? The FAQ one doesnt really tell me a whole lot for being computer illeterate lol

Good morning beautiful ADMINS. Hope you have had your coffee this morning, looks like its going to be another long day.

Id like to know if the permissions we have set in phpbb2 will switch over to phpbb3.

If we have to reset our permissions up. What would be the best way to set permissions for those that belong to gruops and those that donot belong to groups. Ive been playing around with it and so far only ones that can see some the forums are guests and i cannot see them unless i logg out :S

Also the team link at the bottom it doesnt show me listed as an admin or founder, will this be corrected once the switch over?

I use a HTML Chatter Box i guess this will be dissabled because of this change of not putting it into discription :S[/LIST]

Templates/themes/styles ... arent in alphabetical order.
Some styles we use now arent in phpbb3

I noticed on the phpbb3 site theres an update download to grab to update our sites.. It be ok to update ourselves or wait for the complete switch over to happen?

Ermm will it be mandatory that we all go paid hosting or can we still use the free ones we have now ?
