The alternative forum was the option, but you weren't using it so took it down. Other option to to provide you a backup of the forum sql files for you to self host. Or we can attempt to convert to the createaforum system.

Fixed the login issue. Please check now.

Just login in your account on the new forum and try to upload an avatar.
Make sure phpbb settings that avatar uploads are allowed.

I would keep the same url and just changing out. So the normal PHPBB is not fixing any issues? If that is the case i guess no reason to change anything and just leave it as is...

I have not installed the style on that version. I want to see if this is acceptable.

I see some issues with keeping topic urls will see if there is a plugin with the new phpBB version

Ok, I will give it a test, keep both forums but just you can see.
That feature is included in the forums so should be ok.
