I opened the page this morning for my forum only for it to tell me I'm banned by my user name! I wasn't even logged in and it's my forum!

After logging in I found this in the Admin. record:

I've had this place for years, since '06. Currently it's hosting an active RPG and I've just created a sub-forum in it as a favor to a fellow member of the virtual series community. This shouldn't be going on please fix it. You guys on top have the power to fiddle with my forum, please undo issue. Fast! My forum members are going to think I've turned on them if this isn't remedied soon.

phpBB Support Forum / Help Settings Keep Resetting!
October 05, 2010, 01:28:59 AM
This is a peal for help to the higher ups with access to my forum.

I'm rebooting my forum by giving it a new purpose, but in it's new areas, in it's new sub-forums it keeps resetting it's self to needing a password for guests to view them. Over and over, I can't seem to fix this! I want people not logged in to be able to browse the place.

Please help, this is the forum:

I think from over here there is already a person registered that can help, using the user named support.

phpBB Support Forum / Two Matters, Please Read
November 30, 2009, 01:28:08 PM
Quote from: Support;528175Could you tell me which forum/thread you're having problem with?

Thanks.

Welcome.

Um, it's not a single thread matter, it's a forum matter and I believe this is happening with all of them. Log in and look at the forum index of any of the three forums within my board. The 26th Century forum shows this oops the most.

I looked through the log and no one did this so I'm still in the dark over the matter :(.

Second thanks for the tutorial link, I'm gonna ask people soon if they too would like to see games added in :-).

phpBB Support Forum / Two Matters, Please Read

Recently I made a mini-forum on the board and while checking to make sure I put it up right I noticed an announcement I made a while back had it's spot plus the new board stated users could make posts in this outside section. A mistake? So I went into the Admin. panel to see if there was some thing I could do about it, nothing. I went into the oldest of the forums today and found the same error there too, only this with more than just the announcement thread listed. I should be thinking this is the work of another forum Admin. but I doupt it. mwhill77 rarely logs on and he tends not to make changes when he does log and ohboy would never do some thing aside from deleting spammers without asking me first. Can this issue be fixed?

Second, not on the front of the board but given it's own space. I remember reading these forums can gain games? If so, could we talk about how to install them, hopfully not up front on the board.

phpBB Support Forum / Hidding Sections
August 30, 2009, 03:07:07 PM
Forgive me if this has been asked before but can ...if you had a rather large forum and it had three main sections which are in best sense other forums. And people didn't like scrolling down to log in. Could it be made that only the title bars are seen? And only when you click on them do you see the contents of that clicked on section?

It's all cool.

I was wondering if having three accounts in the same forum was a mistake or not .

For your phpbbmf_admin account I can't edit you out as a Founder, it keeps putting you back that way and I can't delete that account.

phpBB Support Forum / Can't PM
July 22, 2009, 01:44:32 PM
At first I thought this was happening on only the computer I was working with but another user, one of the Mods. is having the same issue. People can't send PMs in the forum and this issue has never come up before. Could it please be fixed? Here's where it's talked about. Buck Rogers in the 26th Century & Phoenix Virtual Television Community & Whovonia :: Gallifreyan Renegades • View topic - Logged In, Can't Talk

Only emails can be sent ...I have no idea where this bug is coming from.

phpBB Support Forum / Major Posting Error!!!!
April 04, 2009, 04:16:12 PM
Try to post in the section, The Matrix - Announcements & Feedback, under "THE SPAM WAR IS OVER". That's where I can't post any more for some reason.

Could Bug-Eye also be appointed fully to Admin. ? Yuh see him and Griffy were both Admin.s over the forum now being merged in.

phpBB Support Forum / Major Posting Error!!!!
April 03, 2009, 06:20:52 PM
For basically the whole of today I've been merging another forum into my own and transferring over the other's topics & posts.

Not even 1% of the way done a glitch pops up. I can't post!!!

When I hit submit it redirects me to freeforums.ca's home page. The Admin.s on the other side of this and members know of the merger and are expecting it to be completed. Please please fix this posting issue as soon as possible.

Oh and the member named Griffy should have an Admin. status. His name doesn't show up in red as it should but it shows in his profile. Is that a glitch too?

phpBB Support Forum / So SLOW :-(
March 27, 2009, 02:55:27 PM
I created a second forum I use to test out code to make sure it won't severely mess up my forum or destroy it.

Got an email the other day stating this dummy forum is going to be moved to a faster server. Heck you guys can delete the test forum if you want to. I think I named it 'codetestingforum'. But what's odd is the main forum that gets used has members and over 3000 posts & 313 topics didn't get the same notice. My members have complained over the loading time and I've agreed with them in I believe more than one post. One of the newer members wants to help me move the forum to a new server but I'm not sure that's possible with a forum that's under free hosting.

Since under this active forum I didn't receive a notice of it's to be moved to a faster server. Could Buck Rogers in the 26th Century & Phoenix Virtual Television Community • Index page please be added to the list for this move?
