Just took a look on your forum again and you have another user (BigT) as well as me who is able to access the forum.

Have you tried using a different web browser ?

I use chrome and all is good

Ramook, I have got onto your index page using the above link and logging in.

If you do the same you should then be able to log into the ACP, when you get in the ACP can you go to users and groups > manage groups > guests > members and check that Anonymous    is there and its the default group for Anonymous.

If that's set correct could you do a screenshot of your maintenance page so we can see if anything was changed in correctly.........It seems odd that your the only forum with this error so I can only assume it is something you have done.

Thanks

I guess I'm lost my forum!!!!!!!!!!????????????? :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ ??? ??? ???

No, your forum is still there mate.
If I type in http://worldbestsat.forummate.com/adm/index.php? I see the admin log in page

Did you type in your username and password again ?
The message "Access to the Administration Control Panel is not allowed as you do not have administrative permissions." will all way's appear like that until username and password are confirmed as you are currently logged out.

The forum is gone.  What happened?  Is there any way to get it back?

Your forum is here http://thepropden.aokforums.com/index.php

@ forumate
Looking at that sql error message I would take a guess there is an error with the calender mod.

To give forumate a bit more information
@ ramook ........Have you changed any of the settings recently for the calender ?
can you access the ACP ?
sometimes the ACP is still accessible, you can try your forum address with the /index.php replaced with /adm/index.php

Hi Ramo

ACP > USERS AND GROUPS > group forum permissions > select guests from drop down box > select either all forums ( tick box) or select single forum if its just one forum you want them to see.

you can either select the pre-set permissions from the drop down or use the advanced permissions.

Hope this helps

Customer Feedback / Re: DDoS Attacks
January 15, 2013, 06:10:25 AM
There are some features that have been disabled mate..........
Even if you can change settings in the ACP they still won't work, Forumate are trying to change/remove/modify some of the codes so please bear with us on a few of those problems.

thanks

Hi Flin
I can't remember us ever being attacked here since I joined a couple of years ago.
How ever saying that there is no guarantee to say it would never happen, I have been a member on other forums over the years where attacks have taken place.

In the past we did allow you to edit the subsilver template colours but that is no longer available....sorry

The only other option is to choice another style.
All styles can be install from your Admin control panel, there is a preview of all styles there but you may want to go to http://forumstyles.forummate.com/ and use the style switcher at the top of the index page to see how the different styles look in full view.

Hi Ray

First off some of those features you mentioned have been disabled.
ForumMate is trying to sort out those problems so please bear with us until they are sorted.
There are plenty of topics here stating those things don't work at the moment so please be a little more patient and read recent topics before thinking we are not doing anything about it and giving up on us.

As you can not contact the original admin my advice is for you to make a new forum http://www.forummate.com/signup.php you will need to make the name slightly different as the original name exists and we can not do anything about that with out the original admins permission.

Once you have got your new forum I will be able to help you out with setting up if needed.
(just send me a private message here with the new forum address and I will pop along and guide you through everything or any problems you face)

You may also want to change that message for the forum being closed and add your new forum address so existing members know where to go.

Sorry for not not noticing this earlier, it seems I missed it somehow   :-[

Shoutbox for now

Image and link removed

Please Do Not post any shoutbox screengrabs or links, this can be very confusing to new members joining and cause further unnecessary work for Admin and moderators here when we get inundated with help questions on instructions etc when they have trouble installing it to their forums.

I agree with all the above

also

Promoting your site

One mistake I see made time after time is advertising / putting links to your forum too soon with very little content to see.( I have seen links posted on the day of forum creation)
Inviting friends or relatives to make a few posts before you try to get members also helps....nothing looks worst than a forum with only a few admin posts.

Rules

Having a good clear set of forum rules helps new members understand what is expected
again mistakes made are rules that state you need to make X number posts per month other wise you will be deleted, that is no way to attract members.....members will post as and when they are ready, trying to force them will only lead to them avoiding your site.

There are some pre made rules for you to use or get an idea on making rules, please feel free to copy paste, alter etc
