My forum active topics do not work??? They have not worked since the maintenance???

Nothing comes up when you click on ACTIVE TOPICS.

You can delete Search index by log into ACP>MAINTENANCE>Search index>click button Delete index. Then you re-build Search index by clicking button Create index.

Active topics are still empty. This all started when you guys did the lst upgrade closed for maintenance thing..
I am at a loss as what to do next??? Members are getting upset with the lack of active topics to look for. They rely on them for finding recently discussed topics and some that get buried. Please help. I have tried. No luck.
