contain nudity;the board url is http://noonhost.com/kshitij/, there is another one http://noonhost.com/tarinoita/, http://www.noonhost.com/homemade/ the list will be grow up if the admin don't stop them.My board http://www.masalamasti.freephpnuke.org also contain nudity that why I off the board to stop the nudity in noonhost as majority don't want it.The admin should delete my board if he think so.I don't ever mind it.But he should take a hard action about this factor.Though in this way the member list will grow up everyday but populeraty as a good host will no longer exist if they not take nessesary action.

I think all member will agree with me.

has had porn where any visitor could see it.I think that you should either delete his site or take his site off line for one month because you have warned him once and the warning didnt work.

We mentioned that porn cannot be shown or advertised to guests.  It was stated by Nitrogen that the porn can be seen as guests, but we don't have any links provided.  All of the links provided require a log in??  

As we mentioned before, we prohibit porn on our servers.  But we can't control other external servers where this porn is uploaded.  Contact those admins if you have a problem with it.

We also stated that some of the forums have found a loophole where they are dedicated to providing links to external sites serving porn.  We are working on a way to try to prohibit that in the future.  But for now, it's a loop hole.  We strongly urge those Admins with those types of forums to start planning a move to another web host since their forums may be shut down in the near future.

p.s. http://noonhost.com/kshitij has already been shut down for now for various violations.  http://noonhost.com/wwwmusicmovies was shut down temporarily until they removed all porn references available to guests and made notices that the site is for adults only (if further evidence of violations is provided, we will look into it further).

Thanks for your action but the fact is when some one show the image using [IMG] BBCODE in there site actualy they not only breaking your rule also using your bandwidth to show the picture directly to there member and that's mean they are using your server bandwidth to show the remotely linked picture.

What do you mean tempurary shutdown.....I easyly access the site so the site is not down yet.....within two hour how can its possible for the forum to up again.......I visit the forum and don't able to see any chenges,the are still postering pornographic post in there site.Don't tell lie pls........if you think the forum should run then declair fermly that ypou can host porn site..........as you have no attachment option so nobody can able to use the server for storing there adult file but they can use your bandwidth to show the pornographic picture.

These are 2 separate sentences and issues.  The first is "kshitij" which is currently under temporary shut down for various violations.  The second is "wwwmusicmovies" which WAS (last week I believe) shut down TEMPORARILY until they complied.  "WAS" as in past tense, "TEMPORARILY" as in not permanently so long as they complied.  They complied to our knowledge, but it was stated above by Nitrogen otherwise.  So I asked for links to investigate.  So far, none of those links have been accessible as guests, so no further action was taken.  If links are provided otherwise, we will look into it further.

With regards to the [IMG]BBCode, that does not use up our bandwidth and is not hosted on our servers.  However, I agree that it shouldn't be permitted to have porn pictures shown using this method on Noonhost.  Had that been your complaint, you should have made that clear rather than providing links under the assumption that it was accessible to guests.....because I only checked the links as a guest, so was not able to view what you were referring to.

There obviously seems to be a bit of miscommunication here.  However, that doesn't excuse the disrespectful comments made.  I resent being called a liar and I even more strongly resent being accussed of breaking the rules to allow porn sites so that I can "increase your chance of earning".  

Anyone with even a little bit of mathematical skills would soon realize that Noonhost is NOT set up for profits.  The cost of bandwidth far exceeds the revenues brought in from Google ads.  If it was set up for profits, we would offer paid hosting, increase the number of ads displayed, use pop up ads, sell your email address, spam your users, etc, etc, etc.  Do you have any idea how many advertisers we turn down each month?  Do you have any idea how many offers we've turned down to buy Noonhost?  We do none of these things and accept the losses in order to provide a free service.  Instead of a "thank you", we get this???

So why do we do it?  ALL the admins of this site have REAL jobs which earn us money.  We're on Noonhost on a volunteer basis to help people.  We'd be satisfied if Noonhost simply paid for its own expenses some day, but that's not even necessary.  I would like to think most would appreciate that.  But I sometimes wonder when I read a post like the ones above.  

Sorry to come off so harsh, but enough is enough.  I think I'll go enjoy the rest of my weekend instead of letting myself get frustrated here  :roll: .

I am very sorry and I am appolosise for my above sentence but the factor which make me wright like that line is truly your neglegence on the above matter.You must clearly declared what is a server-used,how to host a porn site.I now clearly know that anybody can host the porn forum easyly with noonhost but the condition is he/she must know how to break the rule.The only rule is hide the sex or porn word from the guest thats it now everything is ok..........If you try to visit the links which shown in my second post you will know how they breaking your rule but the factor is you can't get the link as a guest so you never able to know how they using your host to supply pornographic material.But you can't able to take any action as they are sharing it only with there member.My only appeal is if you don't shut down this forum then tell the admin not to use IMG bbcode to showing the porn picture, use a directlink in the place of that picture.

According to your rule there is no way there gonna be a porn site in noonhost ( not even a single site is goona fall into your catagory )....... then why even have a such rule ....... just to show off ......... and get more members My ( free  ) host banned a forum when somebody tipped them in about 2 hrs.

You should also remove these sentences from the disclaimer during regestrion " You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-oriented or any other material that may violate any applicable laws. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned (and your service provider being informed). " Materials could be links to vids and pics. Admin is making a loophole that links are fine to share but no porn. it doesnt make any sense at all.

And most of the hosts like rapidshare, megaupload and uploading says porn should not uploded to their server, but members of the above site is doin it. Which is breaking of the law, which is illegal. Should illegal files should be shared on noonhost. ? That is clear as black and white.

First, let me once again state that we recognize that our current policies have a loophole allowing forums to link to external sites which display porn.  We are working on updating our policies, but since they are legal agreements, they need to be done via attorneys.....which takes time.

In the meantime, we are enforcing only our old policies, which doesn't allow porn to be displayed and doesn't allow porn to be uploaded to our servers.  We are not responsible for other websites since we have no control over them.  If other sites are showing porn and/or anything illegal, that site would be responsible for it.....NOT us.....even if someone from our site provided a link to theirs.

If you can't understand this after it's been explained over and over again, I can only advise you to seek legal cousel to explain it further.

And once again, we strongly advise any Admins who have forums which provide links to porn, to start seeking alternative web hosts since these activities will soon be prohibited here.

My site is a Christian site and we get the porn & some with the pic's posted. We have to delete this stuff everyday. We wish there was a way to stop this from happening.

If the posts are being made by registered members and you have made it clear that Porn IS NOT allowed then ban them or delete their accounts (Best to do both)If it is guests posting the porn links/pics then be sure you block guest posting and the posts you don't want will stop.
Somebody that is into Porn that much probably won't join an all Christian forum on purpose unless it is with the sole intent of causing problems.
If that is the case then it is something you are going to have to be prepared for as a board admin.
