I am curious, I know that as humans about 99% of us desire and enjoy sex.  I know I love it when I can get it.  But it is such a taboo topic in todays society (in a good sized part of the world).  Why is that?  Why do we feel odd about discussing it.  We talk about everything under the sun to our friends and family but we do not discuss it and become uncomfortable when we do.  We as a society love to see destruction and gore and stuff that is violent and sickening in our media we see (movies, tv, magazines...) but when it comes to sex, a natural part of our lives we are appalled and shocked at even some of the most harmless scenes.  We find it difficult to talk to our children about it and shelter them from it for as long as we can making it taboo and making it seem wrong.  I am not saying that our society should be out promoting sex and shoving it in our faces or anything of that nature but I do think we hide it too much, I find this very puzzling and sad to think about.

So as I am sure most of you know or if you do not I am the Admin of the SexDrive here on freeforums.ca.  We are an 18+ adult forum site (we have permission to do so from freeforum.ca).   We discuss sexuality.  Some major issues come up from time to time but all in all we just have fun with it.  So I ask...

Do you free free about your sexuality discussing it?
Or do you feel that this is a private matter not to be discussed?

Totally understandable really.  different people different comfort levels.  I for sure do out go shouting it in the street  LOL  I am sure many people do not want to hear it and I would probably not want to hear it when I am not thinking about it or not in the mood to talk about it.

But my post was I guess more concerned with the general state of sexual repression in some societies and wether people would be comfortable talking about it in a place like the SexDrive (which is not all about sex actually, there is a lot of normal fun there too).

I am just curious of course :D

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to share this FDA warning about Reglan.

Since there is presently no known permanent cure for serious gastrointestinal distress, it
is not surprising that many patients seek out treatments to provide long-term relief.

According to package insert dosage instructions, Reglan was only intended to be taken
for up to three months. People who have taken this drug for longer than the three–month
prescribed period have sometimes developed a seriously debilitating condition known as
tardive dyskinesia.

Recently, the FDA has issued a public health warning to both patients
and physicians with the intention of avoiding additional instances of this devastating disorder.
No treatment is currently available to treat tardive dyskinesia symptoms. Many of these side
effects are irreversible and permanent.

For more information on Reglan and a list of tardive dyskinesia symptoms check out the
Reglan Precautions Site.
