Problem with Admin and Mod

Ok. Well I know how to make people Admin. But I want them to be Mods. I go to put their permissions but the only thing availible to choose is Administrator. How would I be able to add new choices or at least make Mods? Please tell me.

their is not a choice, you either label them a mod, but they will show as admin. you can only give them specific powers.

SO i cant make people mods? I want to take the ability to see admin panel from everyone else so they dont do anything i dont want them to do

1.Go to AdminCP --> User Admin --> Ranks --> Add new rank --> Make the "Moderator" rank title and set it as special rank.

2.Click on Management under User Admin--> enter the username --> click on "Look up user" --> Rank title --> select "Moderator".

3.Next, it the AdminCP --> User Admin --> Permission --> enter the username of a person you would like to appoint to be a mod --> click on Look up user --> Select forum you want user to mod --> select "Is moderator" from the drop down box.

4.Click Submit.
