Shoutbox permissions!

I just wanted to ask if there is option to be add permissions to the shoutbox (like forum permissions for diferent groups...)!

Hi mate,

Our shoutbox is just an ajax block of the portal.
It only allow admin + moderator to edit it.

But why you want to set permission for it.
Because our Shoutbox only have the a little functions, such as: delete, view ip ad stick shout.

I don't know if you understand me right...

The thing is, that I have made a few groups at my forum and I want each group to have diferent permissions.

Example:

Group 1 - I want this group not to see the shoutbox
Group 2 - I want this group just to read, not to write...

etc...

Yes, certainly.

I know what you want but it's too hard to customize.
You can set more setting at ACP > STARGATE PORTAL > BLOCKS > Manage Blocks.
Find the Shoutbox and set the Group can view it.

This block only allow registered users to post message.
I can't help you to change it.

You're welcome.

I've just add some feature for Shoutbox.
I think I'll stop to customize it  and do the the other things.
If there is any good suggestion, I'll try to do it.
