Hi Barkerdude
I think you need to get more content on your forum before trying to get more members.
One thing that will drive members away is having nothing to see, if you don't add more to the forum then users won't bother adding anything and your forum will fail.

The first thing i suggest you to do is fill in the empty threads with some posts so other users
1/ have something to see
2/ have a reason to make a reply
3/ know what they are expected to post, ie pictures, music, jokes
4/ have a reason to stay on the forum and join in

What age group are you expecting your members to be in ?
Without knowing a lot of members will not post.

The last thing at this stage is to recruit staff, get your forum up and running, get to know the users, get to know who comes on the forum regular and finally get to know who you can trust to help run the forum with you.

I helped you out the other day by setting the forum and style for you and will continue to for as long as you want my help, but you need to now get posting on the forum and fill in those gaps, when you have a good looking forum with more content on then come back and show it off and ask others to join.

Trust me, a bit of hard work to make the forum look good before getting members is the way to go.

Cheers
Paul
