Yes,:smiley-laughing:

I must to say that you're always have some good ideas.
If they're good suggestions, we'll try to support you in the best we can.

Have a nice weekend.

Yes it's always good to communicate that's the power of a forum or support board.

The solution Paul suggested is a good one and easy one.
By moving the posts into a rubbish bin and let this category or section only be visible to the admin you keep your counter pure.

Had not thought about it myself but it's a damned good one.
Thanks Paul

What you may need to do here is put a message on your forum asking members to check first before posting.
On a forum I am a member of we are asked to check first before posting otherwise the post may be deleted by a mod.
Ask your members to use the search first, that way they will see if a post already exists with the same content.

The check if already posted mod is basically the same as the default search.

Is there a mod that can ban people form a section without having to go to the admin control panel?

I would be surprised if there was.

There are two ways you can do this but it does mean going into the APC

1/ create another user group and have different permissions for the group

Apc > users and groups > manage groups > create a new group from here then go to permissions > groups forum permissions > select the new group from the drop down box > select the forums > using advanced permissions you can change the settings to suit.

2/ manage individual user.

APC > users forum  permissions > select user > and alter the settings from here.

Hold on Before doing this

Is it a complete ban or just from a certain area of the forum ?

Using the one click ban will
* ban the users user name
* move the user to group n/a
* delete the users posts
* delete the users avatar
* delete the users signature
* delete the users profile details

if its not a complete ban and just keeping members from a certain part of the forum I suggest you change user permissions or make a new user group with parts of the forum they can and can't use.

Thanks for your helps, guys.

I just want to notice again what Paul said.
The best way is flagging someone.
Admin can view the Flagged User List at ACP > .MOD > ANTI-SPAM > Flagged User List.
We can handle it easier.
Oh, I just remember that Anti-Spam ACP have an option allow to move the flagged users into Banned Group or something like that.
Maybe I'll customize that feature :smiley-smile:

Before using One Click Ban, you must think it carefully:

Are you sure you want to ban that user....?   All of the actions as specified in the Anti-Spam ACP Settings to  perform during a One Click Ban will be performed on this user.
This can not be undone!

If you submit that user profile information to Stop Forum Spam, s/he will be banned form all forums using Stop Forum Spam API.
