Greetings,

How do I set the shoutbox to exclude viewing by Guests?

Thanks for your help.

Hi There
Is there a way to double the size of the shout box?

No and yes

What I do is click on pop up (this is to the right on the shoutbox border) then drag the side of the new window so it is virtually maximised, then on the window I already have opened I drag the size in so that which ever window you are looking at the other remains to one side to easily switch between the two, if you enable sound for new message then you can easily switch from one to the other without returning to the index to view the message.

Hope this helps

Thanks Paul so much,
That's what I also want to say :smiley-smile:

Hi Flin, Do you want to change the font size or the height of shout-box?
We don't customize the style for you because everybody use that style, too.
You can do like the tip above.
Hope you understand.

I think this will do nicely.

Once the shoutbox sound is enabled how do I switch easily from one to another?

Hi Paul I did that and it works great for the forum page.

If a guest goes to  Fairdinkum.forummate.com • Portal  The home page comes on with the shoutbox visible.

Can we stop that?

Cheers flin

Ignore the above - Got it sorted   Thanks  Flin

Hi,

You can get more information here: http://www.forummate.com/forums/phpbb-support-forum/435965-shout-box-3.html?highlight=shoutbox#post539417
It would be better when you set the shoutbox in a popup window.
Hope it helps.
