I am FURIOUS!

I cant imagine what Support and the like can do for me, but I just have to vent my frustration.

I had a huge post ready to go. I hit preview to make sure everything looked ok. After preview, I hit 'submit' and my post disappeared. I get a message that says 'We are sorry, the page you requested cannot be found'

I could scream and cry here. My post was LOOOONG. I am soo mad that I cant even tell you. I am so disappointed in freeforum.ca now that they have made the conversion. I am having more problems NOW than I did before the damn conversion and I am not happy about it.

ARGGGGGH.

You could try going back one page next time this happens. Worked for me when we were hit with blank page syndrome when trying to reply. Didn't work in IE though, but worked fine in Firefox.

Then you can copy the text and try replying again.

Just a suggestion.

Yeah going back one page sometimes work and can be a real life saver. The 'blank page syndrome' doesn't just happen in phpbb, I've had it happen in different bulletin boards and their are many reason that this can happen including if you lose your internet connection for just a second or two. What I do when I have spent a lot of time on a long post is, copy it to my clipboard before I hit submit. This way if something goes wrong I can try it again by simply pressing ctrl + v to paste it for a second time.

Im sorry y'all for freaking out. But it was an epic post. *sighs* I did try and go back one page and it told me it had expired, and this was the ONE time I had forgotten to Ctrl + V before I hit submit. I couldnt believe I was stupid enough to forget with a post as long as I was trying to post.

*sighs*

Tomorrow is another day, and I'll try again. ho hum.
