Having trouble with group forum permissions

Hi,
I'm having trouble setting group forum permissions. Everytime I change the permission and hit "apply permissions" i get this:

Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /adm/index.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.


Please help so i can set permissions for my groups again.
