want to make my own forum icons

ive searched and i see that you guys have to plug them in for me. but my question is what is the recommended size, format (png, id assume?) and is there a list i can get somewhere so i can see what they need to be named?

I'm trying to finish some features for phpNuke. In next week, we'll change something in phpBB3.
I've received lots of forum icons. You can send me your forum icons via PM. I'll correct them and upload into our host.
These forum icons should be in a category. You should prefix them (eg. NBA_xxxx) and resize them into 48x48 pixel. You'd better use .png or .gif image.
