Edit MG-gs025 Theme?

Heya,

I wonder if there's a way to edit the Theme called "MG-gs025" I find it perfect for my website. But the Logo of the Orc breathing along with the 2 World of Warcraft flags at the bottom ruins it all.

My website is hosted via freephpnuke.org I rather not post the link on this forums (Unless via PM) because it's under construction. And not for public, only for my friends.

Edit: I found the names of the 4 images which makes the Horde and Alliance flags at the bottom:

Horde Flag:
footer_01.jpg
footer_06.jpg

Aliance Flag:
footer_05.jpg
footer_08.jpg

Would it be possible to change those? Also about the main image, the animated orc. I can't right-click it to find out the name of it. And I'd really like to edit this theme as it's perfect otherwise. Just needs some fixes...

Sincerely,
Dealman.

Hello Realman,

I can try to help you. I can do some nice photoshop work for you if you like. just gimme an idea of what you want to be in the header (where the orc is found)

As you can see, the header of that theme is made with FLASH. i dunno if you want to keep it in flash ( i cant do flash though) but i can make a header with some PNG's layers, text layers and some other stuff..

Just reply to this image containing an idea of how you want to have it. Please remind, you still have to ask the support to change the CSS file with the correct URL for the headers image and remove the SFW URL. They need to replace (for instance orc.swf to header.jpg. simple as that.

Greetings,

Arjan.

Oh, that'd be very nice of you. As I sure lack the skills of Photoshopping, although I do some texturing for my 3D Models a bit now and then. I'll talk with the friends of mine and see if they got any ideas of what they want the header to look like.

Sincerely,
Dealman.

As Arjan said about editing the CSS. Could you possibly do this...? We're currently discussing about the header image. And we trying to figure out what we should have. Also, would it be possible to edit the Rank images(What is the maximum size?) and the Forum icons (Locked, unlocked and such... Maximum size...?) And ( :P ) the image thingy used for polls, the bar which stretches, would it be possible to make a custom one...?

As this forum is for a Clan/Guild ("Kinship") in a game, we're planning on scouting around in the game to try to find some nice things to take a screenshot of. Also, I'm going to make a few 3D Logos with the Kinship name which you could add to the animated image.

Thanks for all the help so far! Really thankful.

Regards,
Dealman

alright, i keep an eye on this topic then, lemme know when you came up with an idea.

about the rank images, goto: yourdomain.greatnuke.com/admin.php > select the "forums" icon, it will load a new window containing a configuration lay-out of your forums where you can almost edit everything. there should be a link to a page where you can edit or replace the images. Do this by uploading new images to an imagehost, like ImageShack® - Image Hosting, when you uploaded new images youll get a "direct link to the image", mark>ctrl-c>ctrl-v in the text bar on your site where you put in the new URL for the images which you wanna use as new rank images.

done

You may correct me if im wrong

Hope this is helpfull to you.

Regards,

Arjan

You cannot upload rank images yourself because we do not offer FTP access to the web server. If you want to upload your rank images, please send to me then I will help you upload them.

No worries.

@Support:

I've been working on making some temporary banners/footers. Could you possibly replace those with the current ones? The links are:

http://img18.imageshack.us/img18/6817/footer01x.jpg
http://img16.imageshack.us/img16/9785/footer05x.jpg
http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/926/footer06x.jpg
http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/8996/footer08x.jpg
http://img18.imageshack.us/img18/588...owildlifex.png

footer01x, footer05x, footer06x and footer08x.jpg replaces the 4 footers at the bottom. (The Horde/Alliance Flag along with the World of Warcraft text).

And lotrowildlifex.png replaces the banner with the orc on it.

This could also be an example for you, Arjan, what we're kind of looking for. The background of lotrowildlife was found on Google. But this is just for testing though.

Edit: Also, would it be possible to edit the color scheme in this Theme? For example, when replying, the background color is kind of Brown and the font color is Light Brown/Orange. I tried to take a look at Admin -> Forums -> Styles thingy and at other places. But couldn't find anything... (Also the button, this might change while you change the font color etc?)

If this's editable I'd like the background in grey and the font color in orange. Also, the buttons the same, if possible...

Grey: 787878 {#787878}
Orange: C75000 {#C75000}

Edit2:

@Arjanw1987: As I already made a few new temporary replacements, maybe you could make the forum icons...? Anything related to Lord of the Rings / Lord of the Rings Online would be cool Preferrable size, maximum 62x62 or minimum 31x31 and that'd be very, very much appreciated!

Image of current forum icons, to make it easier for you ;P

Thanks for all the help!!!

Regards,
Dealman.
