Manually Aprove Membership

Is there a way to manually approve memberships instead of just using E-mail confirmation. This way I can more closely watch who joins and who dosen't

Hello McFoley,

Login Admin CP > GENERAL tab > BOARD CONFIGURATION group > User registration settings.
Please choose one of 4 options (Disable / None / By User / By Admin) in Account activation.

Hope this helps.

Well yes. But I had it set to Admin and that's when we started getting massive spam user names.

Also, My Forum Board looks like this.

Do I need an update or something?

Membership spam

I'm getting 10 or so new members on my site daily and they are all spam accounts. I need help. The only thing I can do to maintain is delete the account, and ban the IP but they still keep coming.

Tomorrow, we'll set Manual Approve Membership feature for phpNuke.
Please wait.

P/S: I'm also so scared of them.
